Privacy at Zanuli

Your account ID, chosen display name and group memberships.

Tasks, groceries, routines, notes, links, planning, status and activity you share with your group.

Auth0 handles sign-in and processes your name and email address for this purpose, including an Apple relay address if you use one. Apple and Google provide app distribution and any subscription payments. Apple Push Notification service and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging deliver notifications when you enable them; on Android, Firebase processes an app installation ID, push token and technical delivery data for this purpose. Home Connect processes data only for a deliberately connected integration.

When you dictate, iOS turns your words into text on the device where possible and may otherwise use Apple’s speech recognition service. Android opens the speech recognition service configured on the device; this may be provided by Google or the device manufacturer. That service may process the audio. Zanuli does not receive or store the audio and stores recognised text only after you review and deliberately add it.

Zanuli does not sell personal data, show advertisements or build advertising profiles.

You can export the group data visible to you in the app.

You can leave a group and delete your account in the app. Events already shared with other members may remain as activity by ‘Deleted user’, without an active profile, name or email address.

You can disable notifications and optional integrations. An administrator can revoke a kitchen display.

We keep data no longer than needed for the service, shared history, security and recovery.

Connections are encrypted. Access is tied to accounts, groups or restricted device credentials. No system is risk-free; report a possible security issue through our support page.

During this temporary measurement test, the public website loads Google Analytics automatically, without a consent banner. Google Analytics uses analytics cookies and measures visited pages, general device and browser characteristics, visit duration and supported click events. A previously saved refusal does not block Google Analytics during this test.

Advertising storage, ad personalisation and Google signals remain disabled. The Meta Pixel is disabled during this test. Zanuli does not send account, group, task, grocery or support-form content to Google Analytics.

When you deliberately enable a Shelly connection, Zanuli processes connection details, device identifiers, power readings and cycle status to create automatic tasks. Shelly supplies device and measurement data through its cloud service.

From 14 September 2026, Account → Your location lets you choose a place manually or determine your location once. Zanuli stores the place, time zone and approximate coordinates rounded to two decimal places with your household. These details are linked to your group and used only to adjust a paired kitchen display to sunrise and sunset. There is no continuous GPS tracking; precise GPS coordinates are not stored on Zanuli's server. You can change or disable the preference. Paired displays may cache it locally for up to seven days for offline use.

With your consent, we store your name, email address, language and the time and text version of your consent for one Android launch message. You first confirm your address by email. Unconfirmed details expire after 24 hours; confirmed details are kept for up to one year, or 30 days after the launch message. The unsubscribe link removes your name and email address and stops messages not yet sent. Confirmation and launch emails use our existing mail server. Temporary abuse detection uses a daily derivative of the network address, not a persistent IP address. Technical delivery and consent status is retained without contact details. This signup and confirmation page does not use Analytics.

From the app version with updated logging, Zanuli records your account ID, time of use, iPhone or iPad, and app version/build when you open or actively use the app. This happens at most once every fifteen minutes per installation, to understand usage and return visits and provide support. Background refresh and paired kitchen displays do not count as personal app use. This measurement does not record task contents, precise location or advertising IDs and is not shared with advertising networks. Measurements older than ninety days are cleared at the next processing run. Deleting your account removes these measurements.
