Select one group and open Planning → Plan meal. Choose the day and name the meal, or select a saved recipe. Add ingredients with quantities and save. Each group can plan one meal per day; in All groups, choose the relevant group first. A meal does not automatically become a Google or iCloud event.
Plan meals and choose ingredients →Open Planning → Recipes → Add recipe. Save a name, number of people, ingredients and preparation steps. You can also add a full recipe link, with or without your own steps. A link opens the original website; text and ingredients are not imported automatically.
For a meal, select Choose recipe, then Use this recipe. The name and ingredients are filled in. Adjust quantities yourself: the number of people does not scale them automatically. The chosen recipe version stays saved with the meal. If you later edit the recipe, select it again for the meal to use the updated content.
Save your own recipes and recipe links →Open the saved meal and choose Ingredients for groceries. Select what is missing and confirm Add. In this example, pasta and an onion are already in the cupboard: only tomatoes and peppers go on the list. Check the quantities you need.
An open grocery item with the same name and quantity is skipped. Different quantities stay separate and are not added together. Groceries already added remain when you edit or delete a recipe or meal; review the list yourself afterwards.
Use the shared grocery list →On a paired iPad Kitchen Display, open the Week Planner and tap the meal to read the saved ingredients and preparation steps. A source link opens the original website, which needs internet and may have its own access requirements. Kitchen Display requires Premium for the group and a compatible iPad running iPadOS 17 or later.
Set up an iPad as a Kitchen Display →No. Start with the days when agreeing on dinner helps. Leave other days open. You can reopen, edit or delete a saved meal later.
Zanuli currently supports one meal per day per group. This example uses that space for dinner. There are no separate breakfast, lunch and dinner slots.
No. You can save a meal name with ingredients. Use the recipe book for dishes you want to find again, with your own steps, a source link or both.
